Thanks to the impetus of the new Academy F-8E kit, Superscale has brought out two new 1/72 F-8 sheets, of which this is the first. It is sized to the Academy kit and both aircraft are in the light gull grey over white scheme. The markings might fit the Heller or Hasegawa kits, but the biggest bug-a-boo will be getting the ventral strake decals to fit.

First up is a VF-11 aircraft from the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1960

The other is a most popular scheme from VMF(AW)-235 based in DaNang, Vietnam during 1967. I'm sure this sheet will be most welcome specifically for these markings!

There are insignia and data markings included as well as a well done placement guide.
