Victory Productions has had this sheet in the works for a very long time. The wait was well worth it as it has to be the finest F-104 decal sheet that has ever been produced. If you've seen the competition, you'll know that means this is something special. Victory Productions has managed to capture in decal form, every US unit that has flown the Starfighter. That includes variations on markings and a passel of NASA Starfighters as well.

On two huge and one slightly less huge sheet you'll find aircraft from the 337 FIS, 538 FIS, 4760 CCTS, 436 FIS, 435 FIS, 198 TFS, AFFTC, Aerospace Research Pilot School, 3205 Drone Sq, NOTS China Lake, NASA Dryden, 56 FIS, 83 FIS, 319 FIS, 331 FIS, 157 FIS, 151 FIS, 4750 TS, 197 FIS, 434 TFS, and a bunch more. Frankly, I didn't know that there were that many units that flew the F-104 and most of these flew F-104As. I'm just trying to impress upon you the scope of this sheet. Add to that the truly outstanding printing on the decals and this is a sheet that you'll just have to have. It has perfect registration and superb color saturation, everything you want in a decal sheet.

As usual, the instructions are quite comprehensive with full color profiles for most planes as well as notes and information that may help on individual aircraft. There is a large letters/numbers section that will allow specific aircraft to be modeled that are not shown on the sheet. Especially helpful if you want to build a presentation model for an ex-Starfighter jockey.

I can't state strongly enough on how superb this decal sheet is. BUY IT, because if you don't, you'll wish you had as I fully expect it to sell out quickly.

For those of you who routinely ask for pieces of decal sheets that I review, the answer is 'not for a while'. On this one, you'll just have to wait until I've used it for the models I have in mind!
