NOTES:

Every year about this time, Wolfpak Decals offers a special sheet. This sheet cannot be bought separately and only requires a $30 product purchase to obtain. Like this year's, they are of interesting subjects and quite limited so one needs to place an order rather quickly to be able to obtain one.

This sheet has four subjects, starting with an F-16A from the 306 TFS/31 TFW based at Homestead AFB during 1986.

Next is an RA-5C Vigilante with RVAH-13 and attached to the USS Kittyhawk during its 1966 cruise. During this time period, the Navy was experimenting with camouflaging its aircraft for operations over Vietnam and this is one of the planes that was done in SEA camouflage.

This VA-65 A-6A Intruder was from the USS Constellation in 1966 and is also camouflaged, but without the tan. Obviously the experiment never caught on and these planes were returned to standard light gull grey over white.

The last option is a special plane. This F-100D was the last Super Sabre to operate with an operational squadron. In this case it was the 113 TFS, Indiana ANG and was retired in November of 1979. It is in the SEA scheme that was standard with ANG F-100s in their last decade of existence.

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have. A listing of available kits is also included.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.

Thanks to WolfPak Decals for the review sample.
