NOTES: |
This is Wolfpack Decals second sheet and follows in the footsteps of the first by offering a number of different aircraft from different periods of time. Once again, these are all USAAF/USAF aircraft.
This sheet has markings for four USAF aircraft of various vintages.
We start with a nice C-130J from the 815 AS based in Keesler AFB, Mississippi. This has markings for two planes, one of them a C-130J-30, which has slightly different serial presentations.
Next a B-24D from the 801st BG named 'Playmate'.
The third is an EB-66C 'Bat 21' as in the book/movie of the same name. This was assigned to the 42nd ECS in Thailand in April of 1972.
Finally a Misty FAC F-100F, 'the Ghost' from the 416 TFS in South Vietnam.
There are several additional pages to the instructions that show camouflage schemes from either the USAF Tech Order or hand drawn. Some of the aircraft have photos as well. There is also a short write-up on each aircraft pointing out the way they are outfitted. A list of kits and aftermarket bits is also included.
The sheet itself is superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and is in perfect register.
Thanks to WolfPack Decals for the review sample. You can order yours direct via Paypal using sales@millcreekconsultants.com for the reference. Free US shipping, Canada and Mexico add $3 and rest of the world add $4.
