I always like seeing what comes from Wolfpack Decals. They provide us with a variety of subjects and the theme that ties them together is often interesting. This one is no exception and the 'Mad Ducks' sheet has a duck either in the name or in the nose art.

First up is, of course, the Ruptured Duck from the Doolittle raid of 1942. This provides a set of optional markings for Hari Kari-er, which is the angel carrying the bomb in white.

Next is Doolittle's Destroyer, a B-1B from the 28th BW in 2008 in the current grey paint scheme.

Another Ruptured Duck is this FB-111A from the 509 BW when based at Pease AFB in 1989.

Daffy's Delight is a 159 AvnRgt CH-47D that was flying in Iraq during 2004.

Based at Wurtsmith AFB in 1991 was the B-52G Let's Make a Deal, featuring a fanatical duck on the nose art.

Finally, back to WWII and the 36 BS from 1944, this B-24J named The JIGS UP, also with a nutty duck in the nose art.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. You will find that the carrier film is a bit more than you may be used to, but it is easily trimmed back before use.

There are kits for all of these planes, though you may need to do some modifications  to match those that are depicted on the sheet. Typical of Wolfpack Decals, the instructions are very much world class, providing a history of the planes in question as well as load-out information and any updates or modifications required.

If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
