Another very nice sheet from Wolfpack includes some really new stuff and some
from the past in a nice mix. The instruction sheet
for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information
and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In
addition to the actual placement profiles, there are 7 additional pages of
information that include kits and bits for these schemes as well as load-out
information, assuring you of the
most accurate model you can have. There are a possible sevan aircraft that can
be modeled from this sheet so let's get to what is there.
The initial offering is an A-10C from the 107 FS in 2009. These guys used to
fly F-16Cs, but traded in fast jets for the slower A-10C. The C mod is basically
all internal that allows a wide arrange of new weapons types to be carried,
though I do see several additional antennas.
Next, also from 2009 is a VX-31 F-18G.
The Strike Eagle is from the 333FS in 2007. Two markings options for this one
with a standard line bird and the boss bird.
Back to the Hornets with this 2003 depiction of an F-18C from VF-131 aboard
the USS Eisenhower.
Vying for the largest plane on the sheet is a WC-130J from the 53rd WRS from
2007.
But taking the prize for big planes is this C-141A in an experimental camo
scheme while attached the the 438th TAW in 1978.
As with the previous sheets, these are
superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. You will find that the
carrier film is a bit more than you may be used to, but it is easily trimmed
back before use.
If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals
around, you should.
