This
latest sheet includes an interesting selection of subjects. Some big-uns for the
large airplane fan and some little-uns for the rest of us. The instruction sheet
for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information
and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In
addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of
information that include a history of the type, kits and bits for these schemes, as well as load-out
information, assuring you of the
most accurate model you can have.
First are two markings options for the same aircraft, an RB-47H of the
55th SRW out of Offut AFB, Nebraska. This uses the Hasegawa kit and the
Flightpath conversion set. Both early (with sharkmouth) and later schemes are
provided.
Second is a rather famous A-4F, Lady Jessie, from VA-164 aboard the USS
Hancock. There were several Lady Jessie's and this is probably the most
photographed of them.
Next a couple of HC-130s, both in SEA camouflage. The HC-130P is from
the 39th ARRS at Cam Rahn AFB in 1967. The other is an HC-130H with the 129
ARRG, California ANG in 1979. There are several conversion sets out there, the
first one that pops to mind is one of the Falcon vacuform conversions.
An ordinary F-16CG from the 524 FS during the invasion of Iraq in 2003
is next.
Finally a KC-135R in the ugliest camo scheme ever put on an aircraft,
the infamous Shamu scheme. This one was with the 19th ARW in 1992.
As with the previous sheets, these are
superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems.
