NOTES:

This time, Wolfpak decals provides us with a sheet titled 'Victor Alert'. During the cold war, SAC realized it did not have enough aircraft to hit all the targets on the list. In these cases, it was left up to other units and even other nations to help deliver the weapons to the locations needed. This sheet has six different options of units that might have been called to action.

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have.

First up is an A-4C from VA-36 aboard the USS Saratoga in 1966. The aircraft is in standard light gull grey over white.

Next, an F-105D from the 22 TFS/36 TFW, which in 1961, was based in Bitburg Germany. This is listed as overall natural metal, but I believe it might be overall aluminum lacquer.

The A-6E is from VA-34. This unit was aboard the USS John F. Kennedy in 1974. It is also in light gull grey and white.

Attached to the 79 TFS/20 TFW was this F-111E based at RAF Upper Heyford in 1972. This is in standard SEA camouflage with black undersides.

Also a Europe based unit, the 512 TFS/86 TFW at Ramstein in 1984. This F-4E is in the SEA wrap camouflage that was common at the time.

The final option is a Belgian Air Force F-104G as attached to the 10th FBW a Klein Brogel AB in 1971. This is in standard SEA camouflage that Belgian Starfighters carried for most of their career.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
