This time, Wolfpak decals provides us with a sheet that includes a mixture of subjects. This sheet has eight (or nine depending on how you look at it) different markings  options among six different aircraft types. 

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have.

First up is an F-100D from the 20th TFW at RAF Bentwaters in the late 1950s. Typical of uncamouflaged aircraft of the time, this one is painted in aluminum lacquer.

Next an A-10A from the 356 TFS/354 TFW at Myrtle Beach SC in 1982. It is painted in the LIzard I scheme.

The next F-100 includes serial numbers for both a D and two seat F model. Thse were with the 48 TFW at RAF Lakenheath and is also painted in aluminum lacquer.

Moving to the Navy, an A-7A with VA-147 'Argonauts' in 1967 when assigned to the USS Ranger.

The A-7D that is next is a plane painted in an experimental scheme of overall FS 36118 Gunship Grey. It was attached to the 355 TFW at Davis Mothnan in 1974 . Apparently it was briefly assigned to the 27th TFW before being written off in 1975.

The last two options are for MC-130E aircraft. This is a repeat from the first sheet and includes a fulton nose aircraft as participated in Son Tay raid. There is also the markings option for one of the aircraft that participated in Operation Eagle Claw. This aircraft has a standard nose. The green shown is actually more of a brownish shade, according the the photos I have of the Eagle Claw planes on Diego Garcia in 1980.

As a note, the chevron for the nose from the 48 TFW F-100 and unit badges for the A-10 missed getting printed on the sheet. Those will be supplied first week of May for those who get the sheets without them.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
