Wolfpak Decals next new 1/72 sheet is again chock full of USAF options from Vietnam till today. Mr Bones is the figure on the badge of the first markings option with the 95th FIS. There are seven separate main types on the sheet, some of them with multiple markings options. Once again, my apologies for the clipped subject image but Wolfpak insists on having longer than normal placement guides that won't fit on my scanner platen!

So let's get under way. The first is the Mr. Bones 95 FIS F-106A in its early 1972 markings. This unit went on to be part of the training wing for F-15s at Tyndall AFB and may be part of the F-22 wing now there.

Next is an RF-84F from the 184th TRS, Arkansas ANG in 1970. This unit shed its Thunderflashes for F-4Cs then moved on to the F-16 and last I knew, were flying A-10s.

From the 67th ARRS is this HH-53C from July 1978.

The Thud is from the ANG F-105 training unit, the 184 TFG, Kansas ANG in late 1972. This unit was and is based at McConnell AFB in Kansas.

A nice grey HH-60G from the 305 RQS at Davis Mothnan AFB circa October 2008 is the next option.

This is followed by an F-100C from the 120 TFS, Colorado ANG when call up for duty in mid 1970 (hence the tail code).

Finally another HH-60G also from the 305 RQS, but in a desert scheme from 2002. There are three serial number options provided for this aircraft. 

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have. A listing of available kits is also included.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
