More nice subjects from Wolfpak Decals covering eight relatively modern subjects. As sometimes happens, the title of this one is pretty incomprehensible to me, but probably means something to someone out there! These are pretty much recce or special electronic types.

First two options for me is a pair of OV-1Ds. These are the long wing versions and the first one (actually an RV-10D) is a pretty standard aircraft from 2 MIB in Germany during the Cold War. The other  has the SLAR and a few additional antennas from 2 MIB in Korea.

The most modern aircraft on the list is an EA-18G Growler from VAQ-138 at Whidbey Is in 2011. Since the EA-18 is only a two seat plane, I have to assume the USAF types are now back on dry land and long runways.

Next up are a nice pairs of U-2S aircraft with the big CSPAN radome. Now that the block 30 Global Hawks have proven to be an expensive bust and in storage, it means the U-2 will continue flying for a few more years. These planes are a bit different from each other with one being based at Beale AFB and the other at Osan in Korea.

The foreigner in the midst is a Mirage IVR with EB 1/91 in 1998. One of the lst jobs of this plane was fast, long range recce carrying a belly mounted pod.

The P-3C is from 2008 and is one of the few VP units still flying (down to 12 squadrons from a high of 24 in 1991). It is in overall light gull grey and with VP-10 a unit I saw deployed at Keflavik back when it was a NATO base.

The last is the 'bump' EP-3E from VQ-1 in 2001. If you recall, this one was hit by a Chinese F-8 and had to make an emergency landing on Chinese held Hainan Island.

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have. A listing of available kits is also included.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
