The latest Wolfpak sheet is dedicated to SAC and contains six very nice subjects. I have to admit that were it up to me to name this sheet, I'd have called it "SAC it to me", but then that would date me considerably.

The first subject is a B-58 Hustler from the 43rd Bomb Wing at what was then a SAC base at Little Rock AFB in Arkansas. Hustlers are usually very bland when it comes to markings, but this one was participating in a Bombing and Navigation Competition in 1969 so has some nice nose and tail markings to commemorate the event.

Next is an SM-72 Snark from the only operational unit, the 702nd SMW at Presque Isle in 1961. This one isn't exactly 1/72 scale, being designed for the 1/81 Revell reissue.

A nice C-45G is the next option. These were used extensively as hacks by the US military and this one, with 'arctic' markings was assigned to the 817th Air Division at Pease AFB in 1957.

The all white T-38 was assigned to the 9th SRW in 1971 before they started using the BB tail codes.

The fifth option is a B-47E with the 305th Bomb Wing at what was Bunker Hill AFB in Indiana during 1960. This one has dayglo tip tanks.

Finally, another B-47E, this time with the 303rd Bomb Wind at Davis-Mothnan AFB while on deployment to Alaska in 1960. This one has extensive use of white on the underside and much of the fuselage.

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
