This particular sheet is for the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat. It is designed for the Trumpeter 1/32 kit and provides markings for VF-41 aboard the USS Ranger or VF-72 aboard the USS Wasp during late 1940 and early 1941.

As is typical for Yellow Wings decals, you get a full set of instructions that are second to none. It includes a copy of the initial Disposition and Delivery schedule that allows one to see where every one of the 54 aircraft built were delivered. A full painting and markings guide by serial number is also provided for the aircraft when delivered to VF-41 and VF-42. As you know, in those days, all the unit markings and codes were applied at the factory prior to delivery.

The sheet as it is provides markings for three planes; two with the Wasp and one with the Ranger. The sheet includes all the stencil markings, bands, codes and insignia for these options. It even includes prop blade warning bands and the pin striping needed for the cowling markings if required.
