These are something quite helpful if you have the Monogram OS2U Kingfisher kit. This particular new set from Yellow Wings has wing chevrons and fuselage bands to cover all three of the section colors used by Kingfisher units. There are also squadron badges for VO-1, 2, 3, &4. In addition to that, there are wing walk decals, prop tip decals, and black striping decals that I know you will find useful.

Though the sheet does not have insignia, codes nor ship/station names, you can get the insignia and codes from other Yellow Wings sheets. There are four suggested markings options, one for each of the VO units for which unit badges are provided.

VO-1 is for the USS Nevada and Pennsylvannia. These planes all had Insignia Red tail sections

VO-2  was with the USS Oklahoma and California and has a White tail section.

VO-3 was aboard the USS MIssissippi and New Mexico and has a True Blue tail color

Finally, VO-4 was deployed with the USS West Virginia and Maryland with Black as the tail color.

Combine that with the various section bands and you have some colorful aircraft.

The instructions are first rate and give a step by step application sequence in case you are new to aftermarket sheets. The sheet indicates that the colors are matched to ModelMaster enamels and gives the pertinent information so that one has no problems when it comes to painting the tail surfaces and cowlings. As the main instruction sheet is used with all their decals, you'll find a few items discussed, like LSO stripes, that are not germane to this particular set.

Overall an excellent set of decals with superb instructions. If your local shop doesn't carry them, ask them to start!
