It is an unfortunate fact that when a kit is made to accommodate multiple variants, often things have to be either left out or fudged in the engineering of the kit. This excellent multi-media update set works to correct many of those problems.

You get a set of properly detailed engines, a six-piece gear bay/nacelle arrangement that replaces the overly shallow and narrow kit parts, a three piece cockpit detail set that includes a late armored pilot's seat. The Italeri kit provides incorrect prop blades and this set takes care of that with six metal propellers of the proper size for the Jumo 211J. For those of you who want to build a proper Mistel I, there are the required struts and braces provided. In addition, you get excellent Falcon vacuformed clear bits and to add just that additional bit of detail, an Eduard etched metal set is included as well.

Overall, a superb update set that all Ju-88 enthusiasts should consider.
