Black Box has been slowly doing sets for the larger scale aircraft. This one is for the Hasegawa 1/32 F-104 Starfighter. This kit is a bit long in the tooth and so benefits well from a quality cockpit set. This one will be fun to do as you have to sand the bottom of the cockpit tub until the area below the seat opens up. Apparently the F104 did not have a proper floor and so you'll have to do a bit of research to find out just what is down there as the instructions say nothing about the open space.

The set includes what we have all come to expect from Black Box in that there is an instrument panel and coaming as well as a nice bang seat and the usual control stick, throttle, rudder pedals and side panels. It is a rather large set and does a fine job of filling the box.

If you are into 1/32 kits and the F-104 is on your list, then this is a set you really should have.
