From Black Box comes another in their line of resin cockpit sets. This particular one is for the A-7D Corsair II, the 1/48 Hasegawa kit being the recommended model of choice. As with other sets, this one includes a full interior swap, including a new seat, HUD and parts for the inside of the canopy. It seems as if this is basically the A-7E set with a couple of D parts. I say that because there are two items listed as 'D only'; specifically the instrument panel and the side consoles. To use the new side consoles, you'll have to sand down the ones that are already there.

I seem to recall that the A-7E had a seat swap during its career, though I know little about the specifics. The seat included in this set appears to be an Escapac set. Perhaps a reader can tell me if this is the right one for the A-7D. Overall it looks like a great set and one that will undoubtedly find its way into a lot of kits.
