Cooper Details and Hawkeye Designs offer, in my opinion, one of the finest cockpit detail sets around. Many of the Cooper Details sets are being released by Hawkeye Designs, and that is why I lump them together. This particular set is a few years old and that is why it is designed for the Revell 109G-10. This kit, while old, is considered by many to be the most accurate in shape of any of the 109 kits available. The new Hasegawa K-4 may take over that distinction, but the jury is still out on it.

As you can see, you get a complete cockpit in resin as well as replacement gun barrels, new exhaust and a lengthened tail strut and wheel in metal. Included on the etched brass fret are seat harnesses, individual buckles for the insane who like to do their seat belts from cloth or foil, as well as rudder pedal braces and some knobs and switches. It is good that the trim wheels are in resin as these items just don't look good in flat brass.

Overall a superb set, and one you should consider for your next project.
