This new resin detail set is designed specifically for the Hasegawa 1/32 Ki-84. The set includes a set of Contact-Resine's excellent weighted resin replacement wheels as well as a full set of flight control surfaces. One simply cuts out the existing surfaces and replaces them with these. The aileron area will require a bit of additional work to fill in the openings produced when the kit items are removed. The elevators have the trim tabs at a different angle from the rest of the surface, adding some interest.

While the kit parts are generally fine, these resin replacements provide a greater level of detail crispness, especially when it comes to the trailing edges, which are almost knife-edge sharp. The set is completely free from any defects in terms of air bubbles, flash or surface glitches. You won't find a better set of resin detail parts anywhere.
