This particular set is for the Hasegawa 1/48 Bf-109E-4/7, but could easily be used on the earlier versions as well for little is different in regards to the E-1/3. Mostly, one would leave off the bomb detail bits and perhaps the head armor depending on the time frame one is modeling.

Typical of Eduard sets, the detailing is very good and the brass is now nickel plated. In addition to the usual plethora of interior bits, this set includes radiators and radiator coolant doors, inner wheel hubs and brake lines, wheel well detail parts as well as a spinner backing plate, radio mast and some control actuator lines. There is a piece of acetate film for use behind the instrument panel.

If you are comfortable with etched sets, then this one is something you really should consider. In many ways etched sets have an advantage over resin detail sets, as they provide more depth if properly done.
