An upgrade part that will save hours and hours of labor is this laser cut wood laminate deck set for the new Fujimi 1/500 Yamato. The set has the holes for the various deck bits already precut so one basically slides this into place. It seems that this is self adhesive as well. The deck sections have clear sheet over them that is removed before the deck piece is gently put into place and equally gently pressed down over the deck detailing. For those wondering, the large section measures about 11 inches while the smaller one is just about 2.5 inches in length.

The detail work on the wood section itself is superb. Each of the wood sections is clearly delineated and there is a difference in the shade of the individual slats that makes things even more realistic. The set comes complete with color instructions showing exactly what has to be done to use this set.

An excellent choice for an upgrade set for this very nice new ship model.
