To those who have worked on aircraft carriers, we are all aware of what is often a last chance to stay onboard the ship if being blown off the deck by jet exhaust. While the problem wasn't quite as serious in the prop days, there was still a goodly chance of having this happen. To keep us from falling several stories into the ocean, carriers are well supplied with netting running the circumference of the flight deck.

From Lion's Roar comes this nice set for IJN 1/700 carriers. There are two separate designs provided in this set and a few different lengths as well. One is meant for aircraft and the other meant for personnel. In addition, a set of landing light aids is provided. These items are often missing from the kit and are a nice addition to things.

Included with the set are instructions giving a general idea of where these items fit on the edges of the ship.
