From Lion's Roar comes this very interesting set of etched metal detail pieces. These are .8mm round screws (actually, I think they mean screw heads). No scale is given though they look to be applicable to items about 1/35 scale. No instructions are provided on their use, either. These are somewhat unique inthe hobby in that there is no tiny attachment point for these heads to the fret. Instead, there is a sheet of plastic on the front and on the rear of these item. I'm not 100% on how to use them, but one can easily peel back the thicker, blue backing sheet and with a toothpick, push one of these out. As you can see for the small inset image, the item on the far left has been moved. I'm sure that these will find great favor with builders who like to add this sort of detail to their models. The major benefit of these is that there is no cutting required. Simply free the dot and glue it on.
