Those who build a lot of ship kits generally feel that a mandatory addition are the ship's railings. These are frequently not included in kits so one needs to turn to aftermarket for these. Now often these railings are only provided along with a bunch of other photo etch for other parts of the ship. For those who are working with WWII Royal Navy ships, Lion Roar offers this very nice set of photo etch railings. Not only the railings, but the inner support braces are included with this set.

As you can see, there are two sizes offered with the larger being 1/350 and the smaller suitable for 1/700 as the spacing between the uprights seems to be about half. You get two full frets, which should be enough for most projects. The set includes a set of instructions on use. The five smaller single bits shown above are for the openings where you would normally find a gangway leading to a boarding ladder.

In all, a well thought out and most useful set.
