Next in the latest line of Pavla's upgrade cockpit sets is this very nice one for the Roden 1/48 T-28B. The set includes a new cockpit tub with nicely detailed side consoles. New instrument panels and panel shields along with a pair of their very well done seats. Separate rudder pedals, control sticks and some levers for the throttles along with a new ADF antenna base are included.

Unfortunately, on my kit, the heavy cockpit tub rattling around in the container broke away the two control sticks, one of the rudder pedals and the console bits simply disappeared. I really wish Pavla would take better care of packaging fragile parts as rarely do I get one of their cockpit sets that has not had damage to these fine bits. Simply sandwiching the bits between two pieces of cardboard held together with a piece of tape would fix it.

Detailing on the resin parts is superb and Pavla provides a full installation and painting guide. You will need to do a bit of carving to properly install this set, but those at the level of using these sets will be used to that by now.

Overall, it is a very well done set for this new Roden kit and is quite welcome.
