For their next cockpit set, Pavla has decided to do one of the Trumpeter 1/48 Vampire FB.9. This set pretty much replaces kit bits, though you will have to remove the area behind the seat to install the resin replacement. The set includes a new floor with rear bulkhead, side panels, instrument panel, rudder pedals, control column gun sight and a bit that fits on the back of the nose wheel door assembly. A new seat is included that not only has more detail, but also has the harness incorporated into the mold.
As with all Pavla cockpit sets, this one includes full installation and painting guides, making this one one of their easier sets in terms of installation. I was hoping that they'd have included the air conditioning bulge for the front of the right intake fairing, something that Trumpeter overlooked, but that was not to be. Perhaps later. Overall it is a very nice set and well worth the effort of installing.
