This next Pavla upgrade set is a full cockpit for the new Airfix 1/72 Lightning F.2A. The kit cockpit is fine as it is, but it is rather Spartan in terms of detail. This set is a complete replacement for the kit offering. The set includes a new cockpit tub, new bang seat, new control stick, new rudder pedals, new instrument panel and a new new plane anti-glare shield. Pavla has molded in all the instrument detail on the inside of the anti-glare shield, a very nice touch. The only modification needed to the kit is to remove a tab from the top of the kit intake. The set comes with full instructions and a complete painting guide. I always thought these planes were black on the inside, but apparently they are a blue-grey, which I'm guessing is something similar to either Light Aircraft Grey or Dark Gull Grey. It is sure to add a lot to your Airfix Lightning build. A very nice set and one worth seeking.
