This next Pavla upgrade set is a full cockpit for the relatively new Sword 1/72 F3D Skyknight. The set consists of a new cockpit tub, two new seats with head rests, control column and rudder pedals for the pilot, two different instrument panels, a panel anti glare shield and two pieces that fit behind the cockpit seats. There are also some panels for the inside of the fuselage . One will have to remove the kit instrument anti-glare panel. The reason for the two instrument panels is that one is for the standard night fighter and the other for the electronic warfare version. One needs to check references as the later version will normally have a dark gull grey interior instead of the black one used in the night fighter version. This set is almost identical to the set for the Matchbox kit, but the Sword cockpit is a bit taller behind the seat area and so the cockpit tub is, for all intents and purposes, a different piece.
The set comes with complete installation and painting instructions. It makes for a great option for those who want to have the greater detail that is offered by resin cockpit sets.
