This set is allows the builder to make a Spitfire VI using the Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire Vb kit. The conversion set includes extended wing tips, a new four bladed prop and spinner, new fore and aft pressure bulkheads, upper and lower armor plating, desiccant package, seat and nose intakes. A nicely done vacuformed canopy is also included.

Unusual for a conversion set, markings are included for several aircraft. One is a 616 Sq aircraft from Spring of 1942 and the other is a 91 Sq airplane from August of 1942. Serials for several different aircraft are provided, making for a most complete set and one where one doesn't have to scrounge around for markings. The decals are well printed and provide white backgrounds for the fin flashes as separate items.
