Pavla has released a resin cockpit set For the Heller 1/72 Mirage III/V family that has been way too long in coming. The Heller kit is a pretty nice one, but suffers from a basic cockpit, way too thin landing gear and somewhat dodgy fit. Yet it has not yet been superseded in standard injected plastic.

This Pavla cockpit set has all you need to really spruce up the office of the Heller Mirage III/V. It isn't fiddly at all and includes a new tub, new instrument panel/coaming, bang seat, control stuck and rudder pedals in resin. A new canopy and windscreen are also part of the package.

There is some cutting to remove kit sections to use this set, but it seems pretty simple stuff to me. Full instructions are supplied that include painting information and assembly.

As with all Pavla items, this one is very well done and easy to use.
