We can always count on Pavla to provide detail stuff for the 1/72 builder and in this case, it is a new cockpit set for the new Airfix 1/72 F-86F. While the Airfix kit is fine as it is for most modelers, typical of low price kits, the amount of detail provided is somewhat lacking.

Well, now the cockpit can be brought up to high standards with this latest Pavla set. The set includes a new tub, new bulkhead, new seat, new control stick, new instrument panel, new backlight and a new section to fit under the sliding canopy. In addition, one gets a new vacuform windscreen and canopy to replace those thick ones provided with the kit.

This set will require a bit of trimming, but the instructions show what is needed where. This also includes color information. As with all Pavla sets, the molding is super and will do much to enhance your next Airfix Sabre.
