There are times when one just wants a replacement canopy. This is as much due to trashing or losing the kit supplied one as to a desire for a thinner representation that is easier to cut open. Pavla has a long line of canopies and this one is the latest in that line. The canopy is for the Admiral 1/72 F6U Pirate, an aircraft that has not been modeled all that much. I seem to recall one done by another company besides Admiral, but it may well be the same kit in a different box. Pavla has done a fine job of molding this one and it is of a decent thickness so that attaching it will be a breeze.
