Apparently the Italeri 1/48 Re.2002 'Ariete' has a malformed spine. At least it is such that Quickboost has done a replacement for the part on the kit. As I have that kit, I thought it would be useful to have the proper spine for it and when looking through the Quickboost box at the LHS, I spotted this item and purchased it.

As you can see, it is well molded without flaws and includes a nicely detailed head rest piece.
