So you have decided to make an F4F-3 using the Hasegawa kit. You have the wings, but unless you want to do some sanding and filling, having a proper cowling will help the project along. This is one of Quickboost's many resin upgrade bits for this kit and like all their replacement cowlings, is attached at the front of the cowling. This means taking care in removing it so you can sand the proper curve into it. I'm not sure if this will fit the Airfix kit, but it is a moot point as the resin wings won't work with it as the attachment on that kit is quite different.
