This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the brand new Tamiya 1/48 F4U-1 Corsair and will probably fit with any later versions that Tamiya decides to produce. The Corsair landing gear is pretty tall and so the parts in this set are rather spindly-looking. Both main gear legs incorporate the retraction shock with the large braces being separate itmes. The tail gear assembly includes two pieces along with the tail gear fork and the long arresting hook. i

The casting is superb and these bits are direct replacements for the kit items. As is the norm, long or thin parts can be bent during shipment but are easy to straighten out.
