This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the 1/48 Tamiya F2A Buffalo. This set includes two hefty main landing gear and a tail gear with the wheel molded in place. This set does not have the very small solid rubber tail wheel used on the US carrier-borne versions. What it does have are upgrade parts. Specifically the barrier guards used on the USN variants and the gear uplock roller brackets. A set of instructions is included to show you where to place these items if you decide to use them. The gear themselves are a direct replacement for the kit parts
The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As is the norm, some of the pieces can be a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
