This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is yet another rather complex set of landing gear. This set is for the MPM 1/48 He-177, which, if you have ever seen one built, is a real beast of an aircraft. Metal gear are quite appropriate for this aircraft due to the way the main gear jut forward. The set includes both sides of the main gear along with the retraction struts for each leg. A new tail wheel strut is also included for completeness. This set is a direct replacement for the one that comes in the kit.

The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As is the norm, some of the thin pieces may be a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
