This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Trumpeter 1/48 Sukhoi Su-9 Fishpot. As befits gear for Soviet aircraft, it is very sturdy and designed to operate from unimproved surfaces, though the type never really did. The set includes both main landing gear legs and their retraction struts as well as a nose gear leg with the other side of the nose wheel fork and retraction struts. The smaller bits are encased in metal sprues to protect them during shipment and are easily removed. This set is nicely cast and is a direct replacement for the kit parts.
