This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the recent Airfix 1/48 P-40B/C kit. The set is pretty simple consisting of the two main gear legs, the two retraction strut pices which are on a metal sprue, and the tail gear strut. These are direct replacements for the kit parts and are nicely molded. Don't worry about what looks like roughness on the surface of the parts. This is typical of all cast metal bits and will disappear once painted.
