This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Airfix 1/72 A-4B Skyhawk and will probably work on any later variants that Airfix decides to produce. In addition to the one piece main landing gear and nose gear, the set comes with an additional nose gear strut that I always thought was part of nose wheel steering. The really big benefit of this set is the one piece cast cockpit/nose gear well. This should provide enough weight to prevent the airplane from tail sitting. This set is a direct replacement for the kit parts.

The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As can happen, some of the thin pieces may be a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
