This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the Academy 1/72 F-18D Hornet. Couldn't tell you if they fit the Academy F-18A/C as I don't know if they even make one! This set consists of the main landing gear leg as well as the two main gear legs and their retraction struts. These are pretty beefy landing gear so should hold up quite well. The casting is superbly done and like most of their sets, it is a direct replacement for the kit parts. As with all metal sets like this, you might find some of the thinner parts bent, but they can easily be straightened out.
