This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the recent Italeri 1/72 Short Sterling. The Sterling has one of the more complex landing gear assemblies out there and having it available in metal provides a bit of a fudge factor not provided with the plastic bits. As you can see, each main gear assembly is quite complex and SAC has encased each piece in a nice metal sprue to keep things from being damaged in shipment. A full tail gear assembly is also provided and if you are thinking that there is an extra tail leg in the box, when the Sterling uses two of them! The parts are nicely cast and direct replacements for the kit bits.
