This set is for the Hasegawa 1/32 FW-190 series of kits which includes both the A and D models. As with all Scale Aircraft Conversion sets, this one is made out of sturdy cast metal. I've heard a number of tales of kit gear snapping off, something that should not happen with these. As you can see, the oleo scissors are molded in place. on this one. Improvements to the kit parts include a shortened piston ram so the plane has proper sit, addition of brake lines, and correct gear door attachment points As with the others in this series, these are direct replacements for the kit parts. Only a small amount of cleanup and painting is required. I know I'll find these quite useful and I know you will as well.
