If you have seen the Trumpeter 1/32 P-38 at shows you've probably noticed that it s a bit wobbly. That's the result of putting a lot of weight on flexible plastic gear. These cast metal gear from Scale Aircraft Conversions will help out quite a bit in that area. In addition these have been improved by adding correct shimmy dampeners. The oleo scissors and brake lines are separate on this set. These are direct replacements for the kit parts. A bit of clean up of the mold seams, a bit of paint and they are ready to go. A nice thing about metal gear is that you can polish the oleo rams to a high shine.
