This new set from Scale Aircraft Conversions is for one of the nicest big jet kits made, the Revell 1/48 F-15E (also to be found in a ProModeler box). The set includes all the bits of the sturdy main landing gear as well as a new nose gear. Also in this set are the various retraction struts and other bracings needed. These are direct replacements for the kit parts so no instructions are needed. As you can see from the image, the casting is top notch.

The gear is quite sturdy and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them.  Don't sweat getting thinner bits that might get a bit bent in shipping. By slowly working them back into position, they are as good as new. It is one of the realities of cast white metal that we all come across.
