This new set from Scale Aircraft Conversions is for the old, but still rather nice Monogram 1/48 F-8 Crusader, a kit you can also find in a Revell box. This kit has recently been reissued so will be pretty easy to find. It includes the main landing gear and retraction struts along with the two nose gear halves and a nose gear strut.

These are described as a correction set, so I have to assume that they have the correct 'sit' that was absent in the kit items.

The parts are quite well cast and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them in place. It is not uncommon for cast metal bits to be a bit bent, but some careful straightening out will bring them into line once again.
