This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the brand new Kinetic 1/48 F-5A Freedom Fighter. This kit and set also can make the somewhat different CF-5A and NF-5A. The set includes the main gear strut and their retraction struts. It also has the two different nose gear legs; one for a standard F-5A and the other for the CF/NF-5A. A retraction strut is included along with the lower nose gear fork. This kit has two of them, though you will really only use one with your kit. These bits are replacements and additions to the kit parts.

The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As is the norm, some of the pieces are a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
