This Scale Aircraft Conversions set is for the rather old, but still very nice ESCI 1/48 Macchi MB.326. This kit has been released several times in Italeri boxes so it still easy to find. This set is a direct replacement for the kit parts and includes the main gear legs along with their second piece that makes up the wheel fork. A similar arrangement is found with the nose gear leg with the wheel fork incorporating the mud guard that keeps FOD from being flung into the engine intakes by the nose wheel.

The gear is quite sturdy, and all one needs to do is clean up the mold seams, paint things and install them. As is the norm, some of the pieces are a tad bent, but will straighten up quite easily.
