Shelf Oddity 1/144 R-77 (AA-12 Adder)

Next in their line of 1/144 aircraft weapons is this most timely item from Shelf Oddity. This set will make a pair of Russian R-77 (AA-12 Adder) missiles. This is a newer air to air missile and can be found on a variety of more recent Russian fighters.

This set is a pair of brass missiles in 1/144 scale. Each missile is around 20mm in length and consists of a solid brass body with etched fins I am pleased to see some extras included as I always seem to have at least one bit go flying off to who knows where.  You'll notice in the image that there is panel line detail in the body as well as the attachment indentations. Included with each set is a guide to assist in getting the fins properly square. A set of stencil decals is also included. As seems to be popular, the instructions for the set are on-line and one simply downloads a .pdf file for this purpose.
