This nice upgrade set from Werner's Wings is for late war UH-1D/H Hueys and is a specially designed to help protect the aircraft from shoulder operated heat seeking surface to air missiles. This does so by directing the exhaust upwards so that the Strella infrared seeking missile cannot get a good lock.

The set also includes three heat shields. One goes on the underside to protect the oil cooler exhaust and the other two go on the outside of the engine housing. In line with other WW resin upgrade sets, the instructions are profusely illustrated so you will have no problems attaching the pieces. This set is designed for the new Kitty Hawk 1/48 kit, though it may be able to be used on others. September 2017
